Pomar da Pipa welcomes you to enjoy our lush central garden, hammocks under the trees, barbecue area, and spacious outside sitting areas. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi internet, an outside shower and parking spaces. We are happy to provide you with advice about local activities and surf spots. As a previous partner in a reputable eco-tour adventure company, we are also well suited to offer you guided tours along the coast, into the interior of Brazil, and to explore the cities of Natal and Recife.
History of the pousada I came from São Paulo in 1991 searching for a place where I could surf and live close to the beach. When I first discovered Pipa, it was a sleepy fishing village. I was enchanted with its marvelous beaches and pristine nature. So, I bought this little land when it was just a sand dune with coconut and cashew trees. My mother later came from São Paulo to help me start the pousada. We planted fruits trees and flowers until the garden was rich with plants and regular visitors like monkeys and birds. The pousada was opened in December 1993. We named it Pomar da Pipa - "Orchard of Pipa" - to honor the many tropical fruit trees that we planted here. We take pride in maintaining the peaceful and enriching environment that first drew us to Pipa. Our hope is that during your stay at Pomar da Pipa, you will also feel that you are experiencing a little piece of paradise. ~ Mario |
